Strap on your tuque, today we're showing you different ways to use our products. Our reusable hand warmers are versatile and can be reused up to 100 times. If you have no idea what Hot Poc is, welcome, we're a young Sherbrooke company offering eco-friendly heating solutions.

So here are 6 more ways to use our reusable hand warmers!

1. Feet and boots

If hands can benefit from heat, so can your feet. In fact, the smallest sizes of Hot Poc can be applied to the top and sides of your feet. They'll benefit from the heat, so you can enjoy your outdoor activities even longer. What's more, some people use our reusable hand warmers before an activity to warm up a skate or boot, for example. When they put on their shoes, the soles are already warm and comfortable! Please note that we don't recommend putting Hot Poc in ski boots, which are much too tight and rigid.

2. Ears and forehead

When you're out hiking, the cold may give you a headache and your ears may pinch. That's why regular Hot Poc are super-convenient to put in the fold of your toque. The instant warmth of our reusable hand warmers will help your ears and forehead get some cold-weather love, too.

3. Warm the whole body

A great way to warm the whole body is to wear Hot Poc XL at waist height during a chilly winter activity. For adults, simply place the Hot Poc XL directly on the skin. It will stay in place thanks to the elastic of your trouser shorts. For children, we recommend putting the Hot Poc between the pants and the coat, as they are more sensitive to heat. What's more, we've seen that some parents, like Jacinthe, mom and founder of Peakbwa, affix a Hot Poc directly to the child's stroller coat. We wouldn't say no to a portable heater for cold weather!

4. Menstrual cramps

Menstruation is no picnic. Indeed, menstrual cramps are unpleasant and sometimes very painful. You can always apply an XL Hot Poc to your lower abdomen to reduce inflammation and relieve cramps. Obviously, if you suffer from a particular condition or the cramps are uncontrollable, please consult a doctor before use.

5. Electronic items

Hot Poc reusable hand warmers are not only good for warming or soothing you, but also for warming your valuables like cameras or cell phones. The regular sizes can be put directly onto a camera battery, for example. Zahle, founder and photographer of Zenderfull, shows you how he keeps his camera battery warm on his winter expeditions.

To keep cell phones warm and prevent them from “dying” in cold weather, we've designed fabulous down sleepers. Combined with a regular Hot Poc, these 320 down pouches keep your cell phone functional during your expeditions and sporting adventures. You can also put a Hot Poc in your coat pocket and insert your cell phone afterwards.

6. Cool summer nights

Yes, Hot Poc can be used in both summer and winter. They're great for warming you up, but also for soothing your muscles after exercise. What's more, camping nights at the beginning and end of summer can sometimes be cold! Inserting a Hot Poc XL in the bottom of your sleeping bag is a great way to keep warm while you sleep. We've even heard that some people use our Hot Poc for scuba diving or river surfing on mornings when the sun isn't yet at its full potential.

Now that we've given away our secrets about using Hot Poc, we're curious to hear your tips. Let us know in the comments box what your tips are, and if you've tried any of ours!

Here's to the next adventure 🙂
