Sales:
- Expand the Hot Poc retail distribution and position in territory
- Develop business relationships with existing and new dealers
- Promote Hot Poc brand and products throughout territory
- Create strategic territory plan for expansion and growth in all product categories
- Identify, qualify and execute new distribution opportunities
- Report all sales activities and sales results through the company’s Bimonthly meetings with Sales Director
- Provide precise territory forecasts for units and sales $ (Booking and repeat sales seasons)
- Maintain and update account contacts, new business opportunities and sales activities through data sharing (monthly)
- Handle the account opening process (credit check, shipping information, etc)
- Attend trade and consumer events to promote the brand
- Stay current with competitor landscape, product and trends
- Share regular feedback with product development and marketing
- Liaise between dealers, warranty, credit and customer service departments
Service:
- Maximize sales activities and in-store servicing to achieve territory budget and deadlines
- Visit frequently existing stores throughout the Fall-Winter season to service retailers:
- Train the floor staff on the product applications and consumers
- Review product sell thru performance
- Perform inventory count and propose replenishment order
- Train the retailer on the B2B portal usage
- Execute in-store marketing initiatives properly to influence incremental sales
- Provide trade marketing support to dealers, by presenting the trade marketing tools effectively
- Liaise between dealers, warranty, credit and customer service departments
- Gather relevant and constructive product feedback and communicate to Hot Poc
Qualifications:
- Must already represent a winter accessory brand effectively throughout the territory
- 5+ years in the Sporting goods industry
- Must demonstrate superior client acquisition skills
- Superior sales knowledge and commitment that drives success
- Superior customer service and sales account management
- Superior Work Ethic and Integrity
- College Education in sales, marketing and/or business development
Requirements:
- Background in a B2B2C sales model
- Strong understanding of retail & sports industry
- Proven sales background and success
- Ability to build a brand by being strategic and tactical
- Ability to work independently to achieve necessary, on time, results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
